Myrtle Beach Long Term Rentals Tenant’s FAQ
I am looking for a new rental. How do I check out what long term rentals are available?
Please either go online at www.booerealty.com to see interior/exterior pictures of our available properties or stop by our office located at 7728 N. Kings Hwy and pick up an availability list. A valid driver’s license and refundable $10 key deposit are required to visit our properties.
I have found the perfect rental. What now?
At our office, complete a rental application ($60 cost per applicant). We will run a credit report, background check, eviction history, check landlord references and employment references. This process usually takes between 24 – 48 hours.
Once I have decided on a rental and have completed the application process, how do I secure the rental?
Upon application approval, our office will contact the owner and you with the rental terms. Once agreed upon, a lease will be written up to be signed by renter and Landlord. You will read over and sign your lease (even if you are not moving in for several weeks) and pay the FULL security deposit. If you are a student, prepare your parent(s) to be co-signer.
On move in day:
Bring the balance of money owed – in cash, money order credit/debit card, or bank check. All monies owed including security/pet deposits, rent must be paid in full before keys will be released.
NO personal checks will be accepted for move in – NO EXCEPTIONS
You will be required to provide proof of all utilities that will be placed in your name. Please bring receipts or have utility company fax same to our office.
How and when do I pay my rent?
Your rent is due per the lease terms of the lease agreement. We take credit/debit cards, check, or cash. If you have a roommate, make sure that YOUR name is on your payment for proper credit.
