The Annual World Famous Blue Crab Festival returns to the historic Little River Waterfront on May 17–18, 2025, celebrating coastal culture with fresh seafood, live music, and family-friendly fun. Recognized as one of the Southeast’s largest and most beloved festivals, this two-day event draws over 50,000 visitors each year.
Attendees can savor local delicacies like steamed blue crabs, crab cakes, and soft-shell crab sandwiches from waterfront restaurants, or explore nearly 300 vendors offering handmade crafts, specialty foods, and unique gifts . Live beach music sets the tone, while a dedicated kids’ zone ensures entertainment for all ages.
The festival runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day at 4468 Mineola Avenue, Little River, SC.
