Myrtle Beach Fall Festivals

With fall just around the corner, it seems as if summer is coming to an end, and we are all preparing to transition back into our work and school schedules. But why so soon? With our summer weather stretching out through September, low rates, less congested beaches and plenty to do, this is the ideal time to book a Myrtle Beach getaway! Aside from all of the popular attractions still going strong into the fall season, there are a ton of local festivals around the beach that you don’t want to miss!

Mustang Week September 1st-*8th

Anyone in the family a Mustang fan? Join us here at the beach during our Annual Mustang Week for a celebration of Fords most famous sports cars and enthusiasts whom visit the area each year for one of the biggest car show events in Myrtle. Enjoy something new each day as Mustang week includes a variety of events that take place all over the area including the Broadway At The Beach, the Convention Center, Myrtle Beach Speedway, Myrtle Beach Mall and even Ocean Blvd! Activities include, but are not limited to, meet and greets, cruise-ins, car shows, competitions, drag nights, awards and more!

Fall Shag Migration September 12th-21st

As fall approaches and the weather begins to cool, shaggers from all over flock to the beach for one last shindig of the season. The 10 day event takes place in North Myrtle Beach at all of the famous SOS lounges. Events including live bands, food, drinks, merchandise vendors, dance classes and special parties take place in the streets of Ocean Drive and Main Street. Come join the thousands of people who come out to participate in the shag-tivities!

September Fest At Barefoot Landing September 21st

Join us for September Fest! Featuring Duplin Winery's Grape Stomp from 11am - 5pm! This event will be held on The Lawn in Dockside Village and will feature live music as well as food, vendors and other offerings including beer and wine! Come have some fun doing the stomp, which includes a bottle of wine and a commemorative wine tumbler!

40th Annual Aynor Harvest Hoe-Down September 21st

Join the town of Aynor for the 40th annual Harvest Hoe-Down Festival this fall. The event features musical entertainment throughout the day, children’s entertainment, arts and crafts, street dances and hundreds of vendors. Don’t miss the parade to kick-off the fun festival. Fill up on Chicken Bog, Funnel Cakes and tons of other festival fare and let the kids ride a pony!

44th Annual Atalaya Arts & Crafts Festival September 27th-29th

Featuring nearly 100 of the finest artisans, the Atalaya Arts & Crafts Festival provides aesthetic beauty against a background of natural beauty. Enjoy fine art, quality crafts and local food, along with the musical offerings of several of the area’s finest musicians.

16th Annual Irish Italian International Fest September 28th

This one day rain or shine event brings approximately 15,000 to celebrate different cultures. Come down to Main Street in North Myrtle Beach; and enjoy food from local restaurants, two stages of live entertainment, street performers, art & craft vendors, and dance groups all surrounding an Irish Italian International theme. Restaurants will compete for the title of Best Entry, Best Decorated, and Best Dessert. Festival goers can also join in a friendly spaghetti eating contest! There will even be a children’s area that will offer a variety of entertainment that suits all ages; rides, inflatables and more!

Fall Bike Week September 30th-October 6th

There's a special connection between motorcycles and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. For as long as Americans have been hitting the highways in pursuit of adventure, throngs of bikers have been flocking to the Grand Strand for good times by the seashore.
