Secret Season
Posted by Hope | Thursday, August 31, 2017

Have you ever been to Myrtle Beach in the off season? If not, you are in for a real treat! This is the time of year that we like to refer to as the “Secret Season”! Not everyone knows about it, but it is genuinely a delightful time to be at the beach. The weather is still sunny, the water is still warm and the beaches are less crowded. Not to mention, the traffic is at a minimum, the lines are shorter and best of all, there is still so much to do!

We always enjoy the summer months and meeting people from all over. There is always something happening during the summer, but the fall, now that is when we really have fun!

For starters, we have the annual Beach Boogie BBQ on September the 1st, which is truly an event not to be missed! It’s an official BBQ Championship with cash & prices up for grabs for the over 25 teams compete to see who does BBQ the best! This 2 day event includes a Beer Garden, live entertainment, a cornhole competition, and car show! Not to mention that BBQ goers get to sample the goods! Booe Realty

Another awesome event on September 1st is the 7th annual Coastal Uncorked Food, Wine and Spirits Festival. Beginning in 2009, Coastal Uncorked enjoys treating visitors and locals to the best in food, wine, spirits, arts and entertainment. This palate pleasing event will run through Labor Day weekend

September 4th will be the first time that Mustangs will sprint down the boulevard after 16 years of summer runs! After many requests to move this even to a cooler, less busy time of year, Mustang week will now run from the 4th all the way to the 10th of September.

These events are just a few of the exciting things taking place in Myrtle Beach. September calendar alone is full of fun and exciting happenings!

Check out our calendar to plan your Fall getaway and enjoy our “Secret Season”….shhhh, don’t tell!! wink

We’ll see you on the beach!!
