You can’t come to Myrtle Beach and not experience everything that is taking place on the Boardwalk. The shops, restaurants, SkyWheel and year-round festivals being held every day make this a "Must See" on your list of places to visit and things to do. This time of year "Hot Summer Nights" is heating up the Grand Strand. From June through August Myrtle Beach comes alive every night with different free events taking place along the Boardwalk. These weekly events start with Monday's Kids Carnival Live Music and Bands perform every night of the week from June 9 through Sept 6, on any of the 3 stages. Music lovers can hear the hottest bands in the area live at the "I Love Sugar” stage in Plyler Park. This free concert series includes local and regional rock, country, jazz, pop, reggae, R&B, funk bands and more. Sponsored by The Brittain Resorts, Moe Moons & The Beach House Bar & Grill, and Holiday Sands North. On Wednesdays from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. there will be Live Music on the "Oceanfront Stage” stage on 9th Avenue Corner plus more music on the I Love Sugar Stage in Plyler Park. Sponsored by Oceanfront Bar and Grill, The Bowery, and Peaches. How about ending the night with a big bang! Find a place along the beach for a blanket and experience the highest Fireworks Show along the Grand Strand. It is held every Wednesday through August 26 off the 2nd Ave Pier, at 10:00 p.m. Sponsored by The Bay View Resort.

Every Friday between August 14-28 the show, Boardwalk's Got Talent will take place. A mix of talented performers will compete for over $1,000 in prizes for their top acts! Sunday celebrations are reserved for Inspirational Music bringing in a variety of contemporary Christian/ Rock. The National Headliners will be on the Boardwalk Stage on the oceanfront pavilion site between 8th and 9th Ave N from June 21- July 26. Then Sunday Celebrations continue over on the I Love Sugar Stage for the regional bands from August 2-Sept 6 from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. The best part is that you never know who you will meet on the Boardwalk! It could be Elvis, a Princess, or your favorite Super Hero! There are all kinds of street performers of all types up and down the Entertainment Boardwalk District!
