Booe Realty Rental Information
Vacation Reservations: Call us at 1-800-845-0647 or 843-449-4477 to make your reservations. Click here for online reservations If you know the number of people in your party, the date of your arrival and departure, and the method of payment for your deposit, it will be helpful. Also remember the earlier you call the larger the selection of properties.
Hours of operation are Monday thru Saturday 9-5, with closing time extended to 6pm on Saturdays during peak summer weeks.
Deposit: The amount of the deposit required to confirm your reservation is 1/2 the rental amount or $150 whichever is greater. We accept VISA, MASTERCARD, DISCOVER personal check, or money orders as a deposit. If you pay your deposit by check, your check must be received in our office within 10 days of date in which reservation was made or the reservation Will Be Cancelled! A confirmation will be mailed when your deposit check is received. Please make checks payable to Booe Realty. Please review vacation Travel Protection information.
Final balance must be received 21 days prior to arrival.
Check In: CHECK IN is at the BOOE REALTY OFFICE
CHECK IN TIME IS between 3pm-6pm. Should you arrive at the beach before 6pm, you may come by the office to do your paperwork. You will be required to leave an imprint of a valid Credit Card for a security deposit. All units will be ready by 6pm.
Check Out: Check out is 10 am on day of departure. Premises must be completely vacated and keys returned to Booe Realty promptly by 10 am or your security deposit will be automatically forfeited. There is also a charge ranging from $10 - $50 for each lost key.
Late Check In: In the event you are arriving late, we appreciate giving us advance notice. Keys will be left in the lock box outside. When you call the emergency after-hours service, they will verify information then give you the code to the lock box. Located in the lock box will be your keys, a map to your property, and parking passes. You will be required to return to the Booe Realty office the next business day to complete the check-in process.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made on or prior to 21 days before arrival will be handled as follows: Myrtle Beach Condos or Townhouses - All monies paid will be refunded, less a $100 cancellation fee and trip cancellation insurance. Houses - No monies will be refunded unless the house is re-rented for the same time period. If re-rented, trip cancellation insurance is not refunded. Cancellations made within 21 days of arrival will be handled as follows: Myrtle Beach Condos, Townhouses, or Houses (all properties) - All monies will be forfeited unless the property is re-rented for the exact time period. Booe Realty reserves the right to apply guest’s money to another arrival date. Again, in the event a cancellation of any kind is made, trip cancellation insurance is not refundable.
Errors: **Although every precaution has been taken, the brochure and/or web site may contain errors. We reserve the right to make necessary corrections or changes. Prices are subject to change without notice and may differ from the web site.**
Linen Rentals: In order to save $$ on your vacation, we give our guests the option of bringing their own linens or renting them through Booe Realty. Although bed spreads, blankets, and pillows are provided with each rental, linens can be rented and are available at a cost of $17.50 plus tax, per bed. Basic package supply includes 3 bath towels, 2 washcloths and the appropriate bed linens, bath mats and dish towels. Linen rentals does not include bed set-up, but this service can be added for an additional fee. Please notify us at least two weeks prior to arrival if you desire linens for your vacation. For an additional charge, we also offer a Booster Pack of linens which will double the number of towels and washcloths.
Miscellaneous Rentals: Regular Crib $55 weekly or $12 daily, Port-a-Crib $50 weekly or $10 daily. Roll-a-way $50 weekly or $10 daily. High Chair $25 weekly or $7 daily. Additional items can be rented. Phone our office for your needs. ***Please notify us in advance for a linen or miscellaneous rental.***
Advanced Tentative Reservations: During your Myrtle Beach vacation, you may make plans to reserve a vacation unit again for next year. Owners have top priority, followed by this year's renter. If you have not made a tentative reservation by check out time, the unit may be reserved by anyone on a first come first serve basis. To make a tentative reservation, stop by or call our office anytime during office hours.
Monthly Vacation Rental or Winter Vacation Rental Reservations: Myrtle Beach is quickly becoming a year around resort. We are growing in every aspect thus allowing guests to enjoy our part of the world throughout the year. If you desire to spend a month or more with us, please visit our Winter Rental section of the website. By staying with us for 91 days or more, you will escape the tax man saving as much as 13% on the rental rate. .
Vacation Travel Protection Insurance: Although it is our desire to make everything excellent for your vacation, we understand that situations arise whereby you must cancel your trip. In the unfortunate event you must cancel, Booe Realty is proud to offer vacation travel insurance thought our insurance provider, CSA Travel. This vacation travel insurance is automatically added to each reservation and paid with your deposit. In order to decline the insurance you must OPT-OUT by signing in the proper space on the contract and returning to our office within 10 days of paying your deposit. The monies paid to trip insurance will then be added to your next payment. We strongly encourage taking this trip insurance in that it covers a great deal of issues that may arise before and during your vacation. Please speak to one of our vacation planners and let them answer any questions that will give you that peace of mind you deserve. In the event a cancellation is made, any Trip Insurance amount will not be refunded.
Liability for Damages: Limited Accidental Damage Waiver Protection will be included at no extra cost and will be provided at check in. We have learned that our vacationers do not travel hundreds of miles to damage a home. At the same time, experience also tells us accidents can and will happen. Booe Realty is now providing our guests, at no additional charge, this Limited Accidental Damage Waiver Protection as part of our way of saying thanks for your business. You will NOT be required to pay for Unintentional or Accidental Damage to the condominium or the personal property of the owner contained within the premises, up to an aggregate limit of $300 provided the fact that any accidents are reported immediately and/or before your departure date. Damage exceeding this $300 limit, or damages not reported to Booe Realty, will be the responsibility of the tenant and will not be covered under this program. Exclusions within the Limited Accidental Damage Waiver specifically limit the tenant's coverage and do not cover or release the tenant from liability for damage due to the following: 1) intentional, willful, reckless, or malicious acts of the tenant or others on the premises during the tenancy, 2) damage by pets, 3) Acts of God, 4) theft from the premises of either the owner's or property belonging to the tenant, 5) gross negligence of tenant or tenant’s guest or intentional misuse of furnishings, appliances, equipment, or other amenities provided with the home, 6) damage caused while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, 7) damages to real property resulting from operation of any motorized vehicle by a tenant. The coverage of Limited Accidental Damage Waiver, as well as the exclusions contained therein, provided to the tenant shall extend to all members of the tenant's party. All damages must be reported promptly to the Booe Realty office before your check-outdate in order to receive coverage under the Limited Accidental Damage Waiver. Please note: You will still be required to leave a credit card imprint for intentional damages and/or for damages over $300. Please call 843-449-4477 immediately to report damages or with any questions.
Subleasing: This agreement may not be assigned or subleased without prior written consent from Booe Realty.
Entry: It may be necessary to enter the unit during occupancy at a reasonable hour for repairs, care or management of the property.
Outdoor Grilling: Absolutely no grilling on porches or balconies. Grill only in the designated grilling areas. Fireworks are also strictly prohibited. Please refer and abide with local laws.
Odds and Ends and your vacation needs
House Parties: No House Parties! They are strictly prohibited. Those violating this policy on house parties will not be allowed occupancy and will forfeit all deposits paid. If in violation after occupancy, all monies paid will be forfeited. We accept families, married couples and single adults 25 years or older.
Pets: We all know that you would like to bring your pet with you on your vacation. More and more vacation rental properties are allowing pets. Please check out our Myrtle Beach Pet-Friendly Vacation Properties along with valuable Pet Information, book your property, and bring your family pet with you. Certain weight restrictions will apply so please verify this with the reservations agent.
Occupancy: Occupancy is limited to the maximums listed. We appreciate your cooperation.
Substitutions: We reserve the right to substitute comparable Myrtle Beach vacation accommodations without notice or liability, should it become necessary. If comparable accommodations are not available, renter has the option of selecting from available properties at prices shown or receiving a complete refund of all deposits.
Vacation property furnishings: Properties are privately owned and are furnished according to the owner's taste. Neither Booe Realty nor the owner will be obligated to provide additional furnishings or equipment not presently available in the unit. Although every precaution has been made to ensure that the property descriptions are accurate, we cannot be held responsible for any errors and/or changes to the property. Booe Realty will not be held liable for these changes. We will make every effort to accommodate your needs with suitable substitutions. If there are any items that you must have to complete your vacation, please bring them from home so you will not be inconvenienced. We may not have access to just the right thing.
Repairs: We are sorry but we cannot guarantee air conditioning, telephones, cable TV, Internet access, or other appliances, but we do guarantee that repairs will be made as soon as possible. We do not guarantee pools or hot tubs. No refund will be made on their failure. In the event you are in need of repairs after normal business hours, please call our 24 hour emergency service at 843-497-3475.
Phones: Do not charge long distance calls to the phone! Phone services are provided by an alternate carrier. You can use any phone card, VISA, MASTERCARD, etc., to charge you long distance calls.
Additional Supplies and Items to bring: Cleaning supplies, paper products, soap, dishwasher detergent, cleaners are not furnished in properties. Don’t forget to pack beach towels, toys, chairs, coolers, beach blankets and sunscreen. If you forget something, there is plenty of shopping opportunities here at the beach.
Parking: Parking: Boats, trailers and campers are prohibited due to space limitations and HOA rules. All complexes have limited parking. Do not plan to bring more than two cars per unit. If you have a specific question, please inquire about parking with the reservationist.
Damage Deposit: Please inquire. Note: Higher security deposits may be required at the discretion of Booe Realty.
Hurricane Policy: Although we prefer not to use the word “Hurricane”, unfortunately it is a part of our life here at the beach. During Hurricane Season (June 1st thru November 30th) Booe Realty procedures and refund policies will be posted and provided to each guest at check in. Please take the time to review the policies. Also, please review the Vacation Travel Protection Insurance section to include this peace of mind in planning your upcoming vacation.
Departure Maid Service: Departure maid service is required on each reservation in the amount of $60 for a one bedroom, $75 for a two bedroom, $85 for a three bedroom, $100 for 4 bedrooms $150 for 5 bedroom condos and cottages. Houses cleaning fees vary from $125-$500 depending on the house size. Upon departure, guests are responsible for the following: 1. Clean and put away all dishes, glasses, pots and other kitchen utensils. 2. Put trash in plastic bag and take to dumpster or outside trash cans. 3. If linens are rented from Booe, place in bag and put on kitchen floor. 4. Make beds with pillows and spreads.
Should all the above departure cleaning procedures not be completed, part or all of the security deposit will be forfeited. Booe will not be responsible for items left in the properties.
